The Queensland Russian Community Centre (QRCC) is a not for profit organisation which works for the furtherance and assistance of the Russian speaking community and endeavors to maintain Russian culture and pass it to future generations.

Mission Statement


To be an appropriate community development centre and facility with a clear social justice orientation that encourages involvement and participation of people in the affairs of their community

Primary Objectives


  • to promote, foster and encourage the Russian culture, language and heritage;
  • to promote and develop community spirit; to provide information and services to support our members and community organisations;
  • to act as a contact, support and advocacy agent for the ethnic community groups in the area;
  • to assist integration of Russian community in Australian society; develop links with other ethnic communities;
  • to support cultural and sporting activities among members;
  • to provide a welcoming environment in which people can develop friendships, extend their support networks, exchange ideas and to encourage people to involve themselves more fully in community life and decision-making.


Membership

Principal Member – Single $25. Principal Member – Couple $45.              Pensioners/Students – Single $20. Pensioners/Students – Couple $30.                         

 Social Membership $10.
