Dear Members and Friends,
We are shocked and saddened by the recent passing of our Committee Secretary – Dr Alexander Klestov.
He was a well known figure within the Queensland Russian Community and also a past President of the Centre in 2015/2016.
Words cannot express how much we appreciated his input and support at the Centre.
Dr Alex had a sense of humour, humbleness and compassion. We will also remember him for his love of Russian Culture especially history and poetry.
We express our deepest condolences to his family and especially to his three children.
Memory Eternal.
